Your ‘Me Time’ Challenge

You are doing too much. And you aren’t looking after yourself. You are tired. Run down. You haven’t felt fully alive in ages!

If you don’t do something now, that health concern, whether it be physical (hello insomnia), mental (anxiety) or emotional, will become a health crisis.

It’s just a matter of time and you know this. Even if you don’t want to admit it to yourself.

So this is what’s going to happen…


‘LIVE’ Pause & Reset group sessions: because being in your own home creates comfort through familiarity and decreases the stress of trying to get to a class where you might feel self-conscious!

The Pause & Reset sessions are:

  • 3 Live Webinars so we can interact and learn more from each other as well as help you commit to making time just for you!
  • You will log onto the live webinar for 1 hour each week (3 weeks) from your own home as this gives you flexibility (no rushed drive to your class)!
  • Dates/Times: Sundays 8pm-9pm (AEDT) on: 17th, 24th, 31st January

Each week, the Pause & Reset session includes:

  • A guided meditation based on what you have told me because a meditation that incorporates your needs will be more personal (go and do the survey now!)
  • An integration exercise to help deepen your meditation experience, as you are relaxed, focused and more creative after meditation.
  • Opportunity for discussion so you can ask questions and share your experience. This creates a sense of community as you are going through this experience with others just like you!
  • Take home study will be provided each week to keep you motivated & deepen your practice


  • You will receive the transcripts and audio recordings of all 3 sessions so you can practice whenever you want to as well as review what was covered each week
  • The 3 guided meditations from the sessions as stand alone audio recordings for your personal use because often you will just want to hit the play button, lie down and listen, then get up feeling amazing!
  • A copy of the integration exercises used in each session as well as additional integration exercises to enhance your meditation sessions. You might prefer one exercise to another or want to mix it up on different days.
  • Plus two new guided meditations (audio recordings) to add variety to your meditation practice and keep you motivated!
  • 1hr follow up Q&A group webinar in February 2016 for any lingering questions from the live sessions or from practicing by yourself at home


BUT… And keep in mind that 1 casual group yoga or meditation class costs between $20-30 AUD (approx. $17-20 USD).

  • These 3 sessions will be tailored to your needs so remember to fill out this survey.
  • You will be given time to deepen your meditation experience through specific exercises, homework and discussion time instead of your teacher running off to teach their next class.
  • Unlimited access to a total of 5 guided meditations so this saves you time and money on getting to future classes after our sessions together!
  • Plus a 1 hour live Q&A webinar where you can ask even more questions as a lot of yoga and meditation teachers are too busy running classes to actually sit, listen and respond to your personal questions and concerns.

If you would like to register for the Pause & Reset sessions but aren’t sure if you’ll be able to make it to the one or all of the live sessions this is ok. Life happens! You will still have access to all of the material outlined above including the recordings of the live sessions.

From personal experience and what past students have told me, I’m confident these sessions will make you feel good and give you some beautiful tools to use at home.

But even if you get to the end of January and you aren’t happy with what was covered, I’ll be happy to refund you your money. The only thing I ask from you is that you attend all three sessions before asking for a refund.

Meditation & Yoga For REAL People


As nice as it would be to have a studio you could go to to practice yoga or meditation anytime you wanted to, the reality for most of us is that this isn’t possible. But that shouldn’t be a barrier. This was my yoga & meditation ‘space’ for a month while we were staying with family in Peru. And you know what? It didn’t change how I felt during and after my practice. Because it’s not about the external stuff. It really isn’t. Just like yoga isn’t about touching your toes and being the most flexible person in the room. Meditation isn’t about sitting cross-legged in a remote cave for hours and hours. I often meditate lying down listening to a recording. So why not lie down on the messy lounge-room floor and start by listening to this beautiful free recording. I’d love to hear where and how you meditate or practice yoga! Looking After Yourself

It sounds selfish right? It’s not. If you don’t look after yourself (whatever that means to you) then you don’t have much ‘to give’. You inherently know this. You feel this. And I know there are a lot of reasons as to why you don’t prioritise yourself. I have been there (burnout first time round) and I have been there again (you need an MRI because we think you’ve had a stroke) plus all the other ‘niggles’ that are a drain on you and others around you (soooo tired, no energy, not fun to be around, my back hurts).

Last night I wrote my ‘to do list’ for today a different way:

  • 5 minute cardio workout (yes, 5mins!) while my toddler eats brekky
  • Montessori Toddler/Parent group 0930-1130
  • 10 minute meditation while my toddler naps
  • Plan-free afternoon except pick up some milk
  • 10 minute home pilates after my toddler goes to bed

Falling Asleep Meditating?

I got up early again this morning to try & recapture what I did yesterday. It didn’t work. I started to fall asleep while I was meditating! This is not the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. This is just one of those things that meditators can struggle with and it’s ok. I often listen to a guided meditation where I can lie down on the floor and close my eyes. And if I fall asleep? It’s what my body needed.
